There is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness is for the moment and it comes from the world, external triggers. Joy is sustaining and comes from within.
So I ask you, do you have joy? Do you have a real peace that runs deep within your soul and carries you through each day? This joy is supernatural and it only comes from the Lord. This joy brings strength to your mind, body, and spirit…it is healing to your bones and releases healing to those all around you.
Nehemiah 8 says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
There are so many people today that struggle with anxiety, depression, and fear. It is a real struggle in so many people’s mind. It can begin with one thought or experience…and that one thing can become the root cause of stress. This initial thought can trigger an obsession – that obsession can provoke a series of thoughts – until it becomes all-consuming and leaves one completely out of control.
If you are currently experiencing one or more of these strongholds or know someone who is – then you know firsthand what a living nightmare it can be. Even the simplest task can seem so impossible.
These three strongholds are alive and well, and slowly sneaking into people’s homes and stealing their mind, their time, and their present…leaving them with fear of no hope for anything better.
I come to you today to bring you hope and encouragement –
I want you to know that you are not alone on your journey. You have the mind of Christ and Father God is fighting for you. I charge you… better yet, I dare you to believe you will make it. You have to see it.
I declare you will walk in peace and experience joy again!
So don’t look back, back down or give up. Stand up straight and look the enemy straight in the face and declare and decree that your mind belongs to the Lord.
I speak the joy of the Lord over you and that your bones are filled with a supernatural strength and peace is flooding your spirit. Reach up and receive it and thank the Lord for pursuing you and always fighting on your behalf.
He is your defender and never forget, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
I don’t know who spoke those horrible and painful words over you or where you first believed the lies of the enemy – that you would always have to perform for love – but that is a lie.
The love of Jesus Christ is safe and holy and pure.
I pray the love of Jesus floods your mind and spirit – consuming your every thought. I see every lie, every fear, and every ounce of anxiety and depression being stripped from your mind. They are being deleted one by one.
You were not created with a spirit of fear but you were built for power, love and a sound mind…
- You are strong.
- You are loved.
- You are not defeated.
4 steps to Victory:
- Your victory begins with your yes and determination to be free.
- You have to be willing to trust the Lord beyond what you can see.
- Apply the Word of God to your situation and practice it again and again and again.
- Lastly, thank the Lord in advance for your victory and worship Him until it comes into fruition.

I love this word. It is a big chapter of my life book that God has been helping me put together. He has been giving me words, sentences and paragraphs for a couple of years now but more so in the last six months. They have not been in any kind of order but random and now this one seems to pull all the others together to a story that I can understand! God may be doing the same with you so if you have problems like the three strongholds she talks about hang on to this as it may be a big part of something you need to help you get free! It has been that way for me. Never consider anything God directs you to read or see or hear as just interesting “words” but mediate on them and let the Holy Spirit lead you to what they may mean for your life story. I am so excited about how this fits into the healing I need! Thank you Father!
