It Is Time To Cross Over!

This was recorded in April but I believe it is very appropriate for now and connects with the prophetic words coming forth about August being the month when God is going to start moving faster and doors will start opening. This will minister to you if you just take a break and watch it through as she compares the Israelites crossing over as they left Egypt and how God provided all they needed in the middle of a barren desert and at times they wanted to go back to Egypt and the old ways but God continued to help them and supply their needs. Even when they reached the promised land there was still a struggle to take over from the inhabitants there … sounds a lot like what we are up against right now as God’s people trying to take back our land from the enemy!

Don’t Let Fear Keep You From Your Destiny

We have been blessed by the wonderful teachings and prophetic words Elijah List has posted about 5778 being the year of the “open door” and this being a new season. We must pass through a door to enter the new season. The Lord told us this will require more.

“Can a new season begin without a new day? And can progress occur without leaving something behind? You cannot fully enter your new season without giving up your right to the old season. As long as you are still tied to the old season, it is possible to enter your new season but not be engaged in it.

“When the Hebrew children left Egypt, they entered a new season. They whined and complained because they were still attached to the old season rather than engaged in the new one. If they had engaged in the new season, they never would have reverted to the idol worship of Egypt. Even after crossing over into the Promised Land, they still needed to fully engage in their new season.

“Thank Me for loving you, not because you don’t deserve it but because I AM generous. Thank Me for providing, not because you are poor but because I AM a Father. This way, the orphan spirit cannot sneak in and corrupt your heart.“

“While they were in Egypt, I told them about the promise of a land abounding with riches. Did I tell them about the giants, the battles and the tests? If I had, they never would have left the house of bondage, nor would they have seen My mighty hand of deliverance. Neither would they have received My Law nor become My people. Fear would have caused them to lose all of this, so I gave them the promise, fed their faith, and restrained Myself when they strayed. Their struggle was to allow faith to arise and overcome their circumstances so they could receive My promise.

“As a man’s journey with Me continues, I feed his faith rather than answer questions about his circumstances, so fear will not keep him from his destiny.”

Broken Doors and Other Doors

So, in light of the year of the open door, it was very unusual when doors on both our truck and van broke within a couple weeks. We can’t recall doors ever breaking on any of our vehicles before, and we searched for the meaning.

Vehicles generally are a symbol for ministry. Both of these doors were on the driver’s side. The truck is for work and we don’t use it that often. The door hinge was broken and cost $150 to weld. We use the van daily to carry groceries, grandkids and guests, and for ministry trips. The track for one of the automatic doors broke so it would not close. Randy did a temporary repair but our mechanic recommended replacing the worn out part. Could it be time for a newer vehicle?

At first, we were concerned about the repair costs and wondered how we could afford another van. But God put us at peace when He reminded us that He is our Provider for the repairs and for another van when the time comes. We recalled Him telling us, “Get what you need and trust Me for it.”

One night, Barbara dreamed of the interior of a vehicle with a baby bottle on the console. The color was gray like our van, but it was all new. When we asked the Lord for the interpretation, He said: “Everything in the dream was about new ministry. You’re not stuck in a mold. The new vehicle has lots of life in it. The baby bottle signifies that you will have a lot to learn in this new season. The caption of this dream is, ‘Get Ready to Keep Up.'”

The closet doors in one of our guest rooms were old bi-fold mirrors whose handles fell off years ago. If anyone was able to open them, they came off their tracks. The closet was used for storage and filled to capacity. Looking to replace these doors, we found some old-hinged doors in our shed, and we cleaned and painted them and placed $6 mirrors on them. Now, the doors are easy to open. We reorganized the closet and made room for two folding beds, leaving enough space for guests to hang their clothes.

We didn’t need more room, we needed different doors. It reminded us of when the Lord asked, “How can you get what you already have?” We already had better doors.

Our son had to tear off his front porch roof because it leaked, which rotted the adjoining walls. It all had to be replaced. So he bought a beautiful new door and is in the process of relocating the entrance. This illustrates the transition prayer the Lord gave us: “Remove what is dead and prune what remains to bring forth more fruit.”

In the foyer of our house are four doors: one for entry, one to a laundry room, one to a guest apartment, and one to other guest quarters. Straight ahead is a flight of stairs leading up to the main living area. It can be disorienting for first-time visitors. The Lord often reminds us that He will correct us if we go the wrong way. He is a good Father and will lead and guide us. He is not trying to make it hard or confusing.

Since this is the year of the open door, we must ask ourselves which door the Lord is directing us to go through. He is not going to stick us in a closet, but perhaps we need to clean out the closet. A closet may be where you have unforgiveness, guilt, shame or orphan thinking.

Wallowing or Repenting?

Recently, we were bemoaning past mistakes we have made in our lifetime. We had asked forgiveness before, but felt remorse again. The Lord said:

“As a man’s journey with Me continues, I feed his faith rather than answer questions about his circumstances, so fear will not keep him from his destiny.“

“You’re not going to get very far until you stop massaging your guilt over the past. That doesn’t impress Me; it does you, because you confuse it with repentance.

“‘Woe is me’ is not the same as ‘Forgive me and help me move on.’ Whenever you wallow like that, you are trying to justify yourself.

“If you really want to please Me, don’t wave your past mistakes like a flag of surrender. Just learn from them and don’t repeat them, and I’ll be happy.”

Then we were thanking Him for not abandoning us, and He said:

“You’re thanking Me for not doing something which isn’t in My character in the first place. Do you hear the orphan echo? So instead, thank Me for My attributes.

“Thank Me for loving you, not because you don’t deserve it but because I AM generous. Thank Me for providing, not because you are poor but because I AM a Father. This way, the orphan spirit cannot sneak in and corrupt your heart.”

Are You Willing to Go Through the Open Door?

When we go through a door, we enter another realm. Our office has a different function from our living room. The office is for work; the living room is where we fellowship and pray. Many times we don’t want to go through the open doors because they are scary. Even if we can see past them, we don’t know what to expect when we go through them. We say things like, “We’ve never gone that way before. Suppose we are inadequate? What if we fail?”

The Lord said to us, “An open door symbolizes trusting Me. Fear of the future and inability to control things can prevent you from doing that. Even though the door is not closed, you really don’t know what is on the other side. So going through is an act of faith.”

Paul was aware of the scary things that lay ahead through his new door, as he said in 1 Corinthians 16:9, “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

We can dance, shout and celebrate that is the year of the open door…but are willing to go through it?

In ways this was a hard word but I liked it because it said “Tough Love” to me from our Father. We have to stop whining and questioning God like spoiled children. We are crossing over into a new season which has been planned by God from the beginning. So it is time He started treating us like adults and we need to go quietly into what God has for us with full trust. I say that from first hand experience over the last 3 years of tough love I’ve been going though. I did not understand it and thought I had to which caused me not end of grief that I could have avoided. When we don’t trust God and go through the door He has we only open other doors for the enemy to come through.

FROM WILDERNESS TO WONDER

Moving into wonder
Beloved ones, I hear the sound of the Father’s voice declaring over you today, “you are crossing over from the land of wilderness into the land of WONDER.” Habakkuk 1:5 says, ‘Look among the nations and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.’

Where many have been experiencing long, drawn out seasons of wilderness, prolonged hardship and suffering, carrying weighty heavy burdens, I hear a new sound ringing out and it is the sound of the shouts of heaven decreeing a new season is in motion. You are crossing OVER into WONDER.

Song of Songs declares, ‘Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come along with me! I have come as you have asked, to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has CHANGED, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth…and left it bright with blossoming flowers.’ Song of Songs 2:11 (TPT)

The earth will be soaked in heaven’s Wonder.

I believe this new season; the land we are crossing into, is not just a natural experience of WONDER but it is a new jurisdiction of authority. Wonder is described as a feeling of amazement and admiration, caused by something beautiful, remarkable, or unfamiliar. It can also be described as a person or thing regarded as very good, remarkable, or effective. I sense in my spirit that this is not just a fun ‘play on words’, nor is it a coincidence that the word ‘wonder’ appears to be everywhere at this moment. This is heavens proclamation of the new territory that we as the Bride of Jesus are crossing into, both personally and as a whole. A remarkable season of unusual and unfamiliar displays of His goodness. The wonder of God removes human intellect and reasoning and replaces it with intrigue and awe and I hear the mighty sound of angels trumpeting, ‘the EARTH will be SOAKED and FILLED with heaven’s WONDER.’ We are moving into a time of wonder where we will ‘taste and see’ the goodness of the Father in new and unexpected ways and we will be in a continual state of AWE as we participate in His goodness, His love and kindness and HIs marvelous works as His extravagant glory unfolds before us.

This new territory and movement of God’s WONDER will be seen through both sons and daughters alike. The mark of the sons and daughters of wonder are those who are DRAWN to His heart. Their commission is to worship and their time with Him in the secret place will be as an explosion of displays of wonder THROUGH them. Their words and actions will mirror the Father’s, just as Jesus said, ‘I only do what I see my Father doing’, these sons and daughters of wonder will move in such powerful LOVE, the sound of their voice will echo the voice and heart of the Father. The fruit of the Holy Spirit’s workings of wonder through them will cause marvel and amazement to those around them. Those who are yet to be saved will look on and be lost for words as they WATCH God’s goodness on display through them. I see this time of wonder on display as a great time of harvest of souls in the nations. The land and season of wonder that we are crossing into will affect the entire earth.

A time of pruning and harvest.

I recently had a dream where I was holding a cup of water but as I looked closely into the water I saw specks of dirt in the water. I then heard the Holy Spirit say to me in the dream, “Shake the cup.” So I gently shook the cup of water and as I did, all the dirt and grime rose to the surface and I was able to remove the dirt, and the water that remained was purified and cleansed. In the dream, the Holy Spirit spoke to me once again and said, “This is what I am doing right now in my beloved ones. A small shaking that will permanently remove all remnants of dirt and grime so they can move in purity.”

The season of pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Song of Songs 2:12 (TPT)

I believe this dream is a prophetic picture of what is taking place in the hearts of many in the body of Christ in this very moment; it is a pruning of the vines as the scripture above states. Harvest is not accomplished without pruning, and I feel many are currently finding themselves in a place of ‘shaking’ or ‘cutting back’ where things may feel a little uncertain or unfamiliar, where impurities are rising to the surface. Be encouraged though, the Holy Spirit is preparing you for the harvest so that you can carry His WONDER with PURITY. This shaking you are feeling is the pruning of the Holy Spirit where He is removing the impurities of your past and awakening you to the song of your calling so that you may cross over without burden into the new land awaiting you.

The secret place makes way for your destiny

This is a new day of destiny, and the key to crossing over into the promised land of wonder is found in the higher place, the secret place of Jesus’ love and affection. As Song of Songs 2:13 TPT writes, Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of flowers whispers, “there is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.’

Beloved one, this is a proclamation to your heart today; the season is changing, your barren winter has ended and you are crossing over into wonder. Arise from your wilderness, run into the higher place, your secret place with Jesus. Look to Him, behold His beautiful face… there He will lead you out and guide you into this new land and season of amazement, admiration, and beauty. Surrender to His pruning in this season as He prepares you to move over into your new territory and jurisdiction. For the earth is crying out for you to be fully known and fully loved and the time is now.

You are moving from your wilderness into WONDER.

THE BATTLE GOING ON IS FOR YOUR DESTINY!

HE IS REVEALING A KEY FOR THIS SEASON OF INCREASE!

There is a mighty battle taking place right now in the body of Christ over the destiny of His people. The crossing over into greater manifestation of the plans, purposes and breakthrough that He has for His people. There certainly is a ‘clashing of kingdoms’ taking place right now.

The temptation would be to believe the lie that you are losing ground. That you are not being accelerated forward, that you have come to a place of being ‘stuck’ again. This is anything but the truth. The Lord is moving powerfully. He is continually inviting us to ALIGN and to YIELD and He is moving us further than we have ever been before.

As I went to bed last night and began to fall asleep, I heard the Lord speak – Psalm 74:14-15. I opened the Passion Translation and it read:

“You crushed the might of Leviathan, the great dragon, then you took the crumbs and fed them to the sharks! With your glory you opened up springs and fountains, then you spoke and the ever flowing springs of Jordan dried up so we could cross over.”

The Lord showed me that the people of God MUST continue to stand.

“Remember to STAY ALERT and hold FIRMLY to all that you believe. Be mighty and FULL OF COURAGE!” – 1 Corinthians 16:13 (The Passion Translation)

“Because of this, you must wear all the armour that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and WILL RISE VICTORIOUS” – Ephesians 6:13 (The Passion Translation)

As we continue to stand, as we as God’s people continue to worship and decree. As we continue to use the authority given to us in Christ Jesus, we are moving into the greatest MANIFESTATIONS OF VICTORY we have ever seen.

The Lord is releasing strategy and crushing the spirit of leviathan that is attempting to steal and hinder destiny – attempting to suffocate the dreams and hope out of God’s people right now. Attempting to confine, contaminate and crush what God is doing.
God is going to make a PUBLIC DISPLAY of the enemy. Jesus is going to crush the serpents that are coming against God’s people, as the people of God WEILD the sword of the Word of God. There will be NO EFFECTS LEFT of this assault and battle that has come against God’s people. The enemy in all his attempts to keep God’s people bound and out of their land of destiny are being totally destroyed by the power and glory of God, as we stand!

Now is not the time to shrink back, now is not the time to fall asleep again. Now is the time to be alert and on guard more than ever because the Lord is OPENING UP SPRINGS AND FOUNDATIONS in your life. As He speaks the ever flowing springs of the Jordan are DRYING UP so YOU can crossover and take more ground in your destiny than EVER BEFORE.

The battle is SO intense right now, because the battle is over your DESTINY! You are moving forward in leaps and bounds into the destiny of God for your life as you continue to remain yielded and sensitive to His Spirit. The manifestation of your destiny in this season is going to blow you away, leave you in awe, fill you with great joy and hope like you have never known. That is WHY the enemy is attempting to suffocate you, strangle you, and take your dreams and destiny. Stand! Stand! Stand!

Incredible platforms of greater favour and influence are opening up to the people of God who live LAID DOWN! Who live as LAID DOWN LOVERS of JESUS! Burn for Him in the secret place, and it’s ALL about Him. It is not about fame, riches, titles, or promotion, it’s about Jesus! It’s about seeing Him glorified and His Kingdom extended on the earth!

INCREASE is upon God’s people! It’s the season of INCREASE!

INCREASE AND WISDOM ARE MARRYING

I had a dream the other night that I was standing in a Church and before me was a bride and groom. The bride so beautiful, turned to me and said to me “Hello, my name is INCREASE” and the groom turned to me and said to me “Hello, my name is WISDOM”. The Lord then spoke loudly in my dream “In this season INCREASE AND WISDOM are MARRYING!!!!” and I woke up!

This battle going on for your destiny is leading you to a place of greater increase in MANY ways. He is increasing your hunger to go after Him like never before and He is bringing increase in the breakthrough manifesting in the natural. But in this season where the INCREASE is on levels we have never seen, we MUST have wisdom. We cannot move into this land of INCREASE without wisdom. But it is NOT earthly wisdom.

In the dream, when the groom spoke to me, he said his name is Wisdom. Who is wisdom? JESUS!

“For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now HE IS OUR GOD-GIVEN WISDOM, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption.”

In this season of battle, breakthrough and destiny, where INCREASE is beginning to ABOUND, we must be in the secret place, delighting, ministering to and seeking Jesus. We MUST be seeking His heart, and feasting upon Him, OUR WISDOM!

We must be ASKING Jesus for wisdom. Feasting upon the secrets and strategies of His heart. Asking for greater revelation of the truth that WE have the mind of Christ. Asking to see the BLUEPRINTS of His heart for this season. We MUST stay dependant and completely reliant upon Him for ALL things in this season of increase, especially as we move into this new land of destiny and increase. Then may our stewardship and fruit of our lives be one of love, purity, integrity and humility.
