Recently, I shared a word about Accepting Change. Change is an inevitable fact of life… everything changes over time. However, we must realize that change is a choice, and how we deal with it is key to our destiny.
If you look at the Great Depression, most of those people lost everything they had, but there was also a group of people who prospered. The difference between the two groups was found rooted in their mental outlook. One looked at their situation as hopeless… the other looked at it as an opportunity.
The only difference between those who prospered and those who did not was how they chose to change. Now, that’s an extreme case, but I am trying to get your attention!
The world is preparing to go through major changes in the next seven years. If the Body of Christ will become Kingdom-minded, understanding that they travel from faith-to-faith and glory-to-glory, then when difficult circumstances arise we will see a future and hope in every situation.
We must choose to become a part of the solution, and NOT a part of the problem. We must choose to embrace change!
Through good biblical understanding of how the Bible instructs us in embracing change, we will prosper. There is mass change coming, and it is a unique opportunity for you to answer the call and to prosper. When things aren’t shifting, there is no opportunity for a transfer of wealth.
“For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.”—Psalm 37:22
I’ve been preaching for several years now, preparing you to walk through one of the most difficult emotional challenges that you will ever experience. This challenge concerns the people who are closest to you—those who are saved, and are yet found cursed. Their names are in the book, they are going to Heaven, but they will not follow the instruction of God. They make up their own instructions.
There is a balance between grace and law. We must get ready for the ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots.’ If God is blessing you with blessed seed, and you are taking that seed and not placing it into blessed soil, then you will certainly reap what you sow. If you sow into a rebellious house, you will reap rebellion.
If you are receiving an inheritance from God on this earth, then you need to be sowing into the Kingdom.
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.”—Psalm 37:23
Do you ever notice that when things begin to get difficult and stressful, how in your own mind you believe that the pressure has been caused because you are walking in His will? Well guess what… did you ever think that the difficulties could have arisen because you were walking in your own will and not His? You had sown a seed into the wrong place, sowing confusion and causing you to walk in your own direction.
Seed sowing is very important when it comes to staying on the right path. We must sow it where God tells us. Where a man’s treasure is so is His heart. We must love the Kingdom of God more than we love our own dreams. If you want to remain as a part of God’s remnant you must learn to sow where the remnant sows.
When we go off on our missionary rescue missions with our finances, we in essence then become the Lord, and then people tend to lean on and depend on us and not our Heavenly Father.
God is trying to break these close family members. If we would stop from trying to fix their situations, they would come to the Lord much quicker. Christie and I have paid a great price to get here. We have both had to step away from close family and friends who were looking for a hand-out.
“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”—Psalm 37:24
Just because we choose to walk with the Lord and we are doing everything correct, doesn’t mean that we still won’t fall. In these times, we must understand that falling is not rejection—it’s just a part of the process. Falling can be a success if every time we stumble we extend our right hand to His right hand and we say, “pick me up.” Then we are victorious.
You are going to fall. We all do it. If you fall, I’ll help you up! I want you to be free from the fear of failing, AND free from the fear of succeeding.
“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his descendants begging bread.”—Psalm 37:25
I realize that the first part of this blog has been tough on each one of us, but here’s the promise. When we choose to walk in correct alignment, He will take care of us, and our future generations.
In this next season of time, God is going to ask us to do things that we’ve never done before.
“Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”—Habakkuk 3:17-18
Here’s the key to falling and failing while we are trying to learn our new purpose at a new and higher level…
The problem is our feet are too big. We are walking up a very steep cliff with second-day feet on a third-day mountain. The Lord is training you. When you fall, just get up and take His hand. He will show you how to climb the highest mountain.
“The Lord God[a] is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.”—Habakkuk 3:19
This is an allegory that speaks of what God wants to do in each one of us. When there is less flesh in our step, we can go out on even the smallest ledge and stand strong. We must be able to jump from one small place to the next, coming up higher into His presence.
We must wait on the Lord for His wisdom in every situation. God wants the Holy Spirit in us to grow so that we can move easily up the side of the mountain.
We must understand these principles, although I’m preaching out of the New Testament, these are Old Testament principles.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”—John 10:1
The reason the Lord gives the instruction to tithe, give offerings, First Fruits and alms, is that each one of these is an instruction from the Lord. They are commandments that allow for us to go through the narrow way, which in turn brings provision. When we choose to make up our own instruction we come over the wall.
The biggest change you are going to see in these next years are those who will refuse to follow God’s instruction regarding giving. They will insist on going through the broad gate. They will climb over the wall and rob God.
As Believer’s we have been grafted into the Kingdom—a family business. Those who choose to follow the instruction of the Lord will reap Kingdom rewards.
We must understand that everything God gives to us belongs to Him. We must begin to hear from the Holy Spirit regarding the boundaries that we must set. We must be careful of who and where we sow into, because our finances will get cut-off when we sow into the wrong places.
God will provide our needs when we choose to follow His instruction. We must go through a season of time to be qualified of God—a time where even if things are not going the way we would like them to we refuse to jump over the wall, and choose instead to honor His requests by walking through the gate of His instruction.
We must be able to say SHUT UP… I know what God has called me to be and I’m going to stand strong even when the fig tree isn’t blossoming, I’m not letting anyone else label me but God. No one has the right to label me accept for Him—the one who paid the price for me!
